WELCOME TO NEW COVENANT BAPTIST CHURCH
The New Covenant Baptist Church of Orlando was formulated in the minds and hearts of Doctors Randolph and LaVon Bracy in the late eighties. Then, they were in a quandary as to where God was leading them. In 1992, the Bracy’s under the auspices of the Holy Spirit launched out into a totally new direction as founders of the New Covenant Baptist Church of Orlando.
OUR MISSION
New Covenant Baptist Church Health Related Ministry is committed to providing excellent resources in education, wellness and disease prevention. Our goal through our community partners is to diminish co-morbidities and diseases that are rapidly affecting impoverished people in the Central Florida area.
Some of our health Initiatives include, but are not limited to:
Hypertension Screenings, Diabetes Management, HIV Education and Screenings, Mental Health Counseling, Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, Fitness and Walking Programs, Drug Therapy Counseling, Flu and Pneumonia Screenings, Bone Marrow Screening, and an array of health education and workshops.
Our Health Related Ministry is a subsidiary of the Christian Education Department under the leadership of Reverend Cynthia Hinson Graham, Assistant Pastor.
We believe Christian Education is the teaching, training and "in reach" ministry of the Church. In the Gospels, Jesus teaches us that every believer is called to be a disciple and commanded to make disciples.
